143VINYL.com is thrilled to add StarCraft Metals to their product line! StarCraft Metals are a new adhesive vinyl that gives any project a gorgeous metallic look. StarCraft Metals comes in two different finishes- chrome and brushed. The brushed Metal colors available are: silver, gold, and rose gold. The chrome Metals have a few more color options including silver, gold, rose gold, red, royal blue, purple, wine, and silver diamond plate. The brushed colors are lighter shades of gold, silver, and rose gold. When applied to a project, the brushed metals look similar to gold leafing, but since you can cut it on a die cutting machine, the design will have a smooth look. The chrome colors are bright and vivid. These colors have a traditional shiny mirror-like chrome finish.
Even though StarCraft Metals are gorgeous, they also very durable with permanent adhesive. Metals are rated to last for 3-5 years outdoors. StarCraft Metals need to be cut with different settings on each die cutting machine. If you are cutting Metals on the Cricut, set your machine to Iron On +. On the Silhouette, set your material to cardstock plain. Set your blade to 3. Lastly, set your speed to 4 and force to 20. If you are using Brother Scan N Cut, set your blade to 2, speed to 3, and pressure to 2.
